Description

Antique etching folio print on vellum paper dating to circa 1890's. Print was removed from an incomplete antique book. Condition is good minus and clean for the age with some natural tiny " bite marks " to etching print, from the original plate impression. Print also has a few slight ripples / waves to paper. Tissue protector has a crease. Overall size is approximately 5.5 x 8.5 inches and image size is approximately 3.75 x 5 3/8 inches, blank on the back. Blank margins are as shown and are full with the original tissue protector still attached with title and artist's and etcher's name. The tissue protector will show some wear also.
Print is titled on tissue protector " The Antiquary Arming." Drawn by A. H. Tourrier. Etched by H. C. Manesse.
