This was fabulous find!
The plumb bob is made of brass.  It has an image of a foot and is marked but I can't make out the letters or numbers (see photos).
The top unscrews.
It has some expected age wear but is in VERY NICE condition with wonderful patina! It weighs
4.4 oz
and measures
2-1/2
