This Listing is for a Fine Gold Recovery / Recirculation Sluice Box better known as" A Heck of A Sluice". The name was dubbed by Venture West our local Prospecting/Mining Shop and myself.

I was dredging up on the Scott River and got tired of panning out 5 Gal + of concentrates each day, so I decided to do something about it.
I first made these from Rain Gutters back around 1996 when I retired. They went through several design and material changes. So, this item is my latest product.
Made from 1/8" thick extruded White PVC
Size is about 24" long x 5" wide and 2" deep
This is a two (2) stage Sluice Box
First (1st) is where the Water mixes up with the Gold bearing Concentrates. This area is painted Hunter Green to show the Gold
Second (2nd) is where the liquified concentrates travers over a length of Keene Miracle Mat
The Mat is not glued in place, it is held down by a removable plate that is easily removed.
This way you can use different types of: Mats, Carpet, Miners Moss w/raised expandable metal, Vortex Gold Mat or other ?
A piece of

scouring pad is used up front where the water enters and help to even out the water flow.
The Sluice also comes with a Water Valve/Hose Barb and 90deg elbow
You can hook the sluice up to city water or use a water recirculation system
