Description

It's Back! The Original Portable Propane Fired Hybrid Kwik Kiln® designed to both cupel a lead prill, or melt precious metals with speed and ease. If you prefer a Kwik Kiln® that does both, at an economical price, this kit is the one for you.
Cupel the lead prill after doing a fire assay in another furnace.
Melt 1 to 5 oz of fine placer gold (1 to 3 oz silver or copper). Compact and light weight - take it to the field with you!
Kit includes 4" OD x 4" tall Kwik Kiln®, (2) high quality, long lasting NAC-500 mini graphite crucibles, (1) graphite 2 oz gold loaf mold (1 oz silver or copper), (4) premium quality bone ash cupels, 8" crucible tongs, cupel U tongs, 3 oz white melting flux, instructions for both cupelling and melting.
Propane torches and bottles not included.
Please note: This mini kiln is not recommended for smelting ore concentrates, due to the limited capacity for 1 to 3 flux ratios needed.The purer the metal, the less flux is needed, since flux is designed to pullout impurities. Two pencil tip torches are needed for proper operation. Use Propane only.
