Description

Here is a well used coal miner's helmet with OOOHHH so much character. It has its helmet liner and some safety instructions on the inside. The helmet is marked on the outside MSA COMFO-CAP and pat. reg. USA. The helmet has NO testing dates as required by MSA. That probably dates it before the testing stamping was used. Tiger striped and JOY sticker. Here's the kicker, it has a repair to the left side that is NOT legal today. There are rivets in places and part of a layer is missing. Could of been from a slate fall....who knows? A good one for displaying in that Man Cave!!
