    Description

    Gorgeous silver finished art metal Thoroughbred Horse figurine made in the 1930's-50's as a statue or single bookend.
    The sculptural detail on this horse is excellent, typical of old world art metal casting. The musculature is very well defined as is the detail in the horse's face and legs. It's made of metal with a silver finish that has darkened with age, and is mounted to a metal base. The underside is covered with faded green felt over a metal plate.
    It stands 6.5" tall by 7.5" wide by 2.5" deep, and weighs 2.5 lbs.
