    Incredible early Imperial German leather fire bucket. Fantastic quality piece with colorful embossing on a rich leather exterior. Bucket d

    the iconic German eagle embossed front and center with incredible rich colors and lovely multidimensional visuals. Surrounding the top and bottom boarder are
    original
    period tacks and lovely embellished edges around each tack. Leather wrapped from top to bottom on the outside and folded over on the inside lip about 2". There is further an embellished
    ornate
    design on the inside fold where the leather is. It
    appears
    the cylinder is a steamed and wrapped wood that was covered in a type of hard cardstock. Bottom of the inside is lined in wood. Exterior bottom also exhibits a lovely ornate design surrounding the edges. Makers marked "GH' with a ship/castle.
