period tacks and lovely embellished edges around each tack. Leather wrapped from top to bottom on the outside and folded over on the inside lip about 2". There is further an embellished
ornate
design on the inside fold where the leather is. It
appears
the cylinder is a steamed and wrapped wood that was covered in a type of hard cardstock. Bottom of the inside is lined in wood. Exterior bottom also exhibits a lovely ornate design surrounding the edges. Makers marked "GH' with a ship/castle.

Great condition,
obvious
sign of wear and use. Please refer to photos for further condition report. Some bottom nails missing and appears side stitching has been removed
